Wish really really hard until you have a stroke and someone takes you to the hospital where the doctors accidently give you too much morphine, so you leave dazed and confused and happen upon a dark and dirty alley and chat with this homeless man who tricks you into giving him a blow job in exchange...

Not trying to sound like an ass, but why does everyone make it hard on themselves by removing the small circuitboard assembly with the headphone jack on it? If you remove it, you have to jump a bunch of wires, and plus, you don't have headphone and A/V input capabilities anymore!! I just keep it sim...

The only LCDs that small with that high of definition are in LCD projectors-that's why they're so dern expensive. They use an LCD screen about 3-4" wide with a resolution of about 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768. You could try finding an older projector and taking it apart for it's screen. It's worth a look...

If something's shorted, it's most likely due to a foreign object on the motherboard. So, Check the motherboard for any stray blobs of solder you may have dropped while making the portable. I recommend using a clean paintbrush and "dusting" off the motherboard. Stray Solder blobs are the most likely ...
