Well, what exactly are you trying to do? Wire tac switches to the controller board, or wire the controller board to the n64?

He has one for everything, the whole process. I can't remember his website, but it's just got a page full of videos.

Re: wahwahwah worklog!
Where did it break? It's shaped with a large, flat part and a little small part coming off from that. A couple of my little small flat parts broke, so I just soldered on some solid-core copper wire, and it works great.

How does it break?
I'm trying to find a cheap source of N64's. The cheapest source I can think of is broken AS-IS ones on eBay. I was wondering if there are common places/ways that they break, so we can figure out how to fix them and have a good source of cheap n64age.

SS and Raizer bickering like 2-year-olds, not so. Take it outside, leave it alone, bring it to PM's, I don't care. You guys are mature and responsible, at least pretend to act like it.
EDIT: Ah, OK. It's been cleaned up.

Re: Absolute Noob here, Never even touched a soldering iron b4
There's a newer arduino, check out http://www.adafruit.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - it's got a few kits, I'd suggest getting the 'budget beginner's arduino' or something like that. Roughly $35 for all you need. Beside arduino, I'd suggest some practice soldering. The mintyboo...

Re: Keyboard Modding?
Or if it was REALLY worth it to you, you could take apart the keyboard, wire new buttons to each key, and place them in the correct spot - you end up with a double sized, really clunky keyboard, but it'd work.

Re: My first portable
Alright, continuing work - I had an idea, I'm working on making a Ps1/Ps2 joystick work with an n64 controller. It has the 'press down for another button' ability, and I was thinking I would use the joystick button as z - should I include alternate z buttons as well, or do you think just that 1 is g...

TBH, you'd be much better off getting batteries from a camcorder cell IMO.
