So a little more specifically how would I do it? You said get a switch and set it to charge??? I know that the GameAx explodes (or something slightly less dramatic) if plugged in to the AC adaptor while it has batteries inside so I really don't want that to happen to my SNESp. This would be a good (...

I think a super power mega joy NOAC controller thing would be the easiest, especially if you buy one that already has a cartridge connector and use the built in controller. Just disable the built in games get a screen put it in a case hook up a famicom adapter and you are done. I am doing a SNES rig...

Recharge circuit for SNES
Has anyone here ever made a recharge circuit for one of their portables? I want to use rechargeable batteries that are permanently in the case, that way I don't have to cut my powdercoated aluminum case any more than I already have to. I know that Ben used one in the CNC SNESp that he made so I look...

G-force I just saw your PSP (Wrong Forum I know) and I knew that one could be made using the PSOne in it's case and the case feels pretty comfy I think. But I neve owned a PSX (I rented one to play Battle Arena Toshinden once but now I have it for PC) so I never bothered to try making a PSP. I think...

Hey thanks for putting that on there. But yeah on the bottom of the SNES there are two solder points right next to those two and I think that they are connected by a copper strip that is under that green stuff can anyone check with a multi meter and see if they are indeed connected because I disconn...

Question about power switch on SNES
I finally took my SNES power switch off today and then something on the bottom tore. See figure 9-7 on the following page for the top view (http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1558,1759801,00.asp) What it looked like was a copper trace from where the power switch is that went to another solder poi...

Re: PSOne LCD 7805
Did anyone ever find out what the 7805 on the PSOne screen does It converts 7.5V into 5V  I figured as much. I just didn't know if anyone was brave enough to replace them and see if the screen would run on 5v. As I barely have enough to buy the screen it will be highly unlikely that I will be ...

PSOne LCD 7805
Did anyone ever find out what the 7805 on the PSOne screen does or if it can run on 5v? I really want to get one cause they are ultra cheap on eBay but the whole 5 or 6 AA thing annoys me.
Does anyone have the dimensions of the screen case?

Hey Gannon can you put Ninja Gaiden, Mike Tyson's Punch Out and Duck Hunt up there I can't edit the poll just my post. Can't, there's a limit to the amount of options a poll can have :'( Yeah I found that out when making the poll in the first place, I thought maybe with you superior editing powers ...

Favorite NES Game
I am definitely going to go with The Legend of Zelda although Super Mario Brothers 3 is pretty close. And I love Castlevania. I tried to put a ton of poll options in but just post your game and I will try to keep up on updating the poll options to include it. I didn't bother putting zelda 2 up becau...
