Re: How much would Super Mario Land 2 unopened be worth?
Depends on if it's the Original release or the Players Choice re-release with Condition also a factor, of course. Assuming no shelf wear on the corners, no holes in the plastic, and the seal is tight with the box not caving in upon itself, I'd probably say ~$55-70 for the Players Choice and maybe ~$...

Re: Custom Painted N64 Case
The red parts look nice. I think the cracked look would look cool if you painted the console green too, reptile style.

Re: "Gameboy Developer Unit" on eBay. But what is it? (56k GTFO)
Thanks for posting the pictures since eBay removed it already. This really doesn't make any sense though. Anybody who would be remotely interested in a real gameboy development kit would notice pretty quickly that this isn't anything of that nature. If it was an actual consolized gba I'd argue that ...

Fed up with 3.5" backup Screens. Troubleshoot/Alternative?
Maybe it's just my horrible luck, but it seems to me that the quality (which of course really wasn't that high to begin with) of these has really dropped of late. For ~$20 each I'm not expecting much really, I just want them to work properly and that is my issue. I buy these screens for Nomad mods, ...

Re: Ebay copyright infringement claim abuse by Nintendo and Sega
That happens a lot with prototype carts too, which I suppose is a different story altogether since that's a licensed sega/nintendo product. On top of that, it STILL doesn't stop bootleg/fake carts and shady reproductions at inflated prices. They always seem to do the opposite of what seems fair, rea...

NES2 AV Mod (finally) complete
Finally had time to finish my NES2 mod we were working on at MGC. We did the LHE A/V mod ( bar napkin schematic here ) I opted to use a Composite Cable A/V cord (with the headphone style plug on the end) instead of the composite yellow/white jacks as I didn't want to cut the case much, if at all. We...

Re: NES 80's Laptop
Bump. Still working on this project, been though a lot of revisions. I the Ps2 screen that I was trying to use would not play nice with an LED mod (some ground spots the lights were not nearly bright enough and the picture was way too dim and murky, and other spots the backlight completely washed ou...

Superjoy's quality is complete garbage. I had one that somehow broke just by removing the case.

Re: The Afternoon projects thread.
I needed some alligator clips to test some leads and pinouts, and according to my dad, we had some "somewhere." The only ones I was able to find were the actual clips, but no cables to attach them together. Clearly the only viable solution was to make my own. http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/1903/cl...

Re: MGC 2013 thread?!?
The Benheck Experience MGC 2013 Event Space is a go! We will be in a new area this year, in our own space, across from the Arcade Museums in a cannibalized hotel room. There is about 8 or so other events like this, one selling Pinball Parts and Hyperkin's Retron 4 will be nearby too, among other thi...

Re: John's MGC FS thread!
Probably dibs on one of those ps1 screens so I can get some work done on my 80's NEStop, if we can't get the current one I have going again.
