Re: Xbox 360 WVI Commission Progress
I'm making a WVI but only enclosing screen, receiver and battery. This way I can use original controllers from any console to make it universal. When it comes to wireless AV receiver you want to make sure you get 5.8Ghz or 1.2Ghz because if you use Xbox controller it runs at 2.4Ghz and there is inte...

Re: Using a 7
I'm using 7" HD monitor (headrest) in my universal WMI (wireless video interface. Think techknott's creations for PS3 and Xbox 360). I can tell you mine takes about 7Watts. This one does NOT have tv tuner or build in speakers. I did a simple test where I connected 5 AA batteries to my monitor and it...

Re: Universal WVI
I received the 12v 6800mAh battery and did the test on my setup. I got 1h 20min of run time. I did not expect it to be that low. I think the capacity of this battery is 1100mAh. I also ran a test with 5 AA batteries (7.5v) and they are able to power my 7" HD Monitor and av wireless receiver :). So I...

Re: Almost Universal Wireless Gaming Client
Thanks for the info.
Another question I have:
Is there anything special to charging the battery and playing at the same time? I mean any special circuit etc? How it is done?
Thanks

Re: Almost Universal Wireless Gaming Client
First off, wonderful work :) Congrats. I am working on a similar thing but much, much simpler as I do not have much time/skills. I am putting 7" HD Monitor + 5.8Ghz AV Receiver and maybe a battery inside a case. This way way I can use any source/controller I like to play on any system. The whole thi...

Re: Universal WVI
Yes, they are the blue brick ones. I figured they capacity will not be the one reported but maybe something close to it. If that is the case then I would run it of external power only. Not a big deal. I just bought an abs enclosure so I hope to integrate everything now.

Universal WVI
Hello all, I read a lot of post here and like the idea of converting systems to something that is portable. I got interested in the idea of Wireless Video Interface (Xbox 360 and PS3). I own Xbox 360 and was looking at techknott's creations (both Xbox 360 and PS3). I did some planning and came to th...
