Thx I'll try it out. Can I just take half of the cells and use a 7,2V charger? I don't think I need 14,4V to power a genesis + screen. There's also some transistors, diodes and ic's soldered to the wires that connect the batteries, can I take them off?

This is the smallest one I have. Have you looked in a hardware store? They might sell something like a gamebit because other brands use the same screws. My water boiler uses them and my rechargable battery packs from Tyco too. I don't, howerver recommend the 'burn a pen' technique because A: it does not work (I tried with at least ...
