NOAC questions
I've seen some threads and the sticky about cheap NOACs. But I'm really confused. I want to build a really small NOAC portable. But I was wondering which ones were the best/most common. I also want to be able to play normal NES games on it (OEM). Does anyone have any information/suggestions?

Re: how to wire a/v out?
Check the stickies for the diagram. You want to wire the signal to the middle pin of the RCA jack (You'll see what I mean when you look at one if you don't already) and Ground to the outside pin

Mine has cost me about $200 so far but thats because I've had to buy multiple screens, consoles and controllers due to me breaking them.

Re: Elephant64 Worklog
I know the C-buttons are REALLY sloppy but they work fine, and thats all that matters to me! the shoulder buttons are comfortable but I'm not getting any continuity from them . Tomorrow I'm going to try and fix the shoulder button continuity and hopefully get the Dpad in.

Re: Elephant64 Worklog
Got the C-buttons mounted. A little bit sloppy, especially the right arrow one, but it works. I'll probably fix it later but for now I don't really care. I'm hoping to get the shoulder buttons and the d-pad mounted tomorrow. Then I'll be done with buttons! I'll post pics when all buttons are in and ...

Re: AV from psone screen to n64
I got the one with the port in it because its easier but you can just strip the fuel gauges wires and wire them up to the outputs of the PCB

Re: Elephant64 Worklog
My lovely innards! With still 7 more buttons to mount plus a dpad ( which I still don't want to include, but I really want a complete portable) there's going to be lots of hot glue

Re: Elephant64 Worklog
1. Ebay guy is being a butt and still hasn't shipped after me asking him to and him responding. I just sent him a message telling him either ship or refund by 5:00 tomorrow. 2. Apparently the gamecube joystick cares which way is up. I have tried it by turning it 90 degrees and it worked fine...which...

Re: help noob
On the right side. You will see multiple traces pool together to make a bigger trace. expose some copper there and solder one side of your switches there.

Re: help noob
tactile switches....one side of the switch going into the postive(left) side of the button ( if there's no little circle of exposed copper, scratch up a trace) and one side going into ground.
