Re: It's Apple Keynote Time
My first impression was that it was a giant ipod touch. But With the iBook integration, I think it shows that this isn't the portable computer people were expecting, but an overpriced Kindle competitor. Seriously, I could buy an HP mini 311 netbook with windows 7, 2gb memory, 160gb hard drive and en...

Re: MINNIEMAN'S offical XBOX LAPTOP WORK LOG
Big pictures much? I would resize them to something a little smaller, like say 800x600. Plus imageshack has a thumbnail function.
And I would add to the topic that its a 360 laptop, not a basic xbox one.
But, back on topic: What did you use for the case? Plexiglass?

Re: Wiring monitor to xbox 360 power supply.
What ben did was he took the power supply, cut the board in half, and stuffed it in the power brick. He wired the board to the wires coming in. Where exactly, I don't know. But yes, that's what you do if you follow his tutorial.

Re: Xbox 360 Power Question
I'm just going to assume you mean a laptop :P . The GPU is a 65nm die, which is smaller and allows for more heat efficiency, possibly allowing you more space (idk if the stock heatsink is smaller) and less cooling. AFAIK the motherboards are the same size. IMO, I think it would definitely help to ha...

Re: Good case construction material
I knew that Sintra could be thermoformed, but I didn't know it could bend at that low of a temperature.

. Never mind. I read on your post that you used super glue and bondo to fill the cracks.

Sweet. Thanks.
I saw your laptop (nice job by the way) and you used the same material. How did you hold/glue it together?

Good case construction material
I'm looking for a good case material that 1) Holes can be cut easily (like with a xacto knife) 2) Is durable (contradicts 1?) 3) Takes a lot to get hot (don't know how to say it) I haven't researched Sintra/Komatex, but from what I've heard it pretty much fits these qualifications. Does anyone know ...

Xbox 360 Breakout Panel
When I saw Ben's laptop, I was so amazed that I decided that I would make one (eventually). In Ben's first (or second?) xbox laptop revision, he included an a/v breakout panel. 1) How difficult would it be to wire one of these? 2) How difficult would it be to include a switch that changes the output...
