Re: Eagle- auto routing help
I find that the best way overall to do it is get your components how you want them, autoroute, then fix the mistakes autoroute made (stupid, stupid, ugly mistakes) and 're' route manually, optimizing everything. If you are rip-up-ing tracing, and you click on a trace, it rips it up. if you click on ...

Re: My First Portable - The N65
... :( I think I fried it. Again. Everything was working PERFECTLY, then I tried the cart slot relocation - when I flipped the switch, a white bar flashed across the screen, then nothing, at all. I was originally using the Lucid Method (which I will, in all probability, NEVER use again) so I desolde...

Re: My First Portable - The N65
Sold the screen, and soldered everything on to my new mobo - it's running off batteries perfectly right now, the last thing to solder is the cart slot relocation. I'll be buying a new screen off of ebay soon, then the casework begins... I'll probably do a vacuum form case so it fits right in my hand...

Re: t64 Resurrection
Problem: Screen.
I suppose if it uses <500mAh, you could use a mintyboost-esque circuit to boost voltage up to 5v, 3-4V is a pretty good place for efficiency.

Re: N64 Battery Life Calculator
I actually have it set up to calculate 3.3 and 12v draw separately, so people can easily input other 12v (7.4v) line draw, then figure out battery life based on that.

Re: N64 Battery Life Calculator
Upgrade Complete! Now the values you input stay in after the forum submission, so if you just want to change 1 thing you don't have to re-enter all the data. I also slightly modified the algorithm, so it may work better for those of you getting weird results before.

Re: N64 Battery Life Calculator
The screen Ah draw goes in to a separate filed, it calculates that, too.

N64 Battery Life Calculator
I made it with PHP, it assumes 2 things: 1, You're using a pth****** (08000 or 08080 whatever) 2, Ah draw on 3.3v is 1.5Ah with expansion and 1Ah with Jumper. These values are easily changeable if somebody can suggest better, more accurate values. Link: http://www.other.openwebster.com/n64/n64figure...

Re: My First Portable - The N65
Bump/Update Again: My new mobo got here, works (almost) perfectly. I bought it defective, player 1 port is missing 2 pins. Fortunately, that's easily replaceable with parts from my old mobo. I tested my screen again - using an official power supply/RCA cable adapter for the n64, and my batteries to ...

Re: 3.5" TFT LCD Monitor Visual Reversing Camera
You must be new here - please check the date of the last post before you post, because you don't want to 'necro' (resurrect) really old threads. The screen does work, but it depends on what device you use it with. It does not work with my n64.

Re: 3.5" TFT
Hmm... that could end up being the case... I may just have to swap with somebody who's doing a mod with a console it will work with. Another thing I though it could potentially be - it supposedly has automatic swapover between PAL and NTSC, so that MIGHT be the problem. I'll look for somewhere to di...

Re: My First Portable - The N65
Well, I had my friend come over today so I could test my potentially working yet potentially broken stuff with his for-sure working stuff, and as it turns out, my mobo IS fried. I ordered a new one, and I also noticed an issue with the screen (posted in the screen section). Once the board gets here,...

3.5" TFT
I'm having a problem with my screen... It's this screen: http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=220680367262" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (That particular auction, too.) Anyway, I had a friend come over who had a working n64 so I could test my stuff today, and at firs...

Re: Portable power supply
7.5V will work just fine to power the n64, make sure the read all the stickies and previous worklogs you can, you'll get a lot of information that way. To wire it, wire the postie, usually red, to the positive of each component - mobo, screen, regulator. Then connect ground to ground, and install a ...

Re: so here is my work
As long as there's no resistance between any 2 points, you can solder to either of them.
