Once again with screens you can't use. Portable dvd players won't work.
Just get a psone screen. It's the best way.

Re: HDMI onto a very small display
Camera mounted HD screens? They've got those on eBay. Ranging from 5"-9", prices from $375. Oh, and they've got direct HDMI input.
480p only, but you really aren't going to get anything better. There just isn't anything better on the market.

I'm looking into this. I don't have $220 right now but nothings stopping me from getting $220.
I'm more intrigued by the VB and my lack of a VB.

Re: I need battery help
If it's from a telephone it's probably going to have a small capacity. You may want to look into something with batteries that draws more power than a phone. Of course, it depends on the project.

Re: 7" TFT Resistive Touchscreen for project
If the touchscreen panel is separate, then you *could* use it, assuming the right conditions (very low chance) the LCD panel is unusable. You would need to buy a specific controller to use that panel, and I'm 100% sure there is none for that model. normally, the panel interface is proprietary. There...

Re: vga/rgb input?
motherboard. Are you 100% it's an HDMI INPUT? I find that hard to believe that a 9 year old laptop even has HDMI in the first place. If you wanted to use it, you can't use the motherboard. You'd need to power the laptop, have it running to connect anything to the HDMI input (if any) and ...

What LCD did you use? I'm looking to make a pico GCP and I need a really small LCD for it.
Besides that, this looks super. Waiting to see the final result!

Wii questions, voltage and VGA...
OK- Looking into a Wii portable for a trip I'll be doing soon. So, before I start buying parts left right and centre, I need to know two things-
Can you easily mod the Wii to output VGA?
Can the Wii run on 11.1v?
Thanks! I'd test it myself but I have neither the parts nor the Wii to try with.

Re: Is it possible to slim down the slim mobo?
While we're on the topic of power-
I'm making a PS3p, and yes, there's batteries. Would it make any difference to replace my current motherboard (65nm RSX) with the 40nm RSX? It creates less heat and uses less power, but I'm not sure if it will make any difference.
Thanks!

Ha. The PS1 was fairly simple in design.
I've found a website that lists everything about the PS3. EVERYTHING. Pretty useful, could come in handy for future...?

Project Trinus build log (+help needed)
OK- here is my project, finally coming together after a year of putting it off. I recently picked up cash and the LCD panel, so I'm well on my to completing this. I do have some questions at the end, just general stuff, including batteries (yes, batteries) and paint options. Thanks for any help. Com...

OK haven't been here for a while. Modretro's having issues.
So the PS3 can be run on 9v? I suppose you'd sorta cripple it with that voltage though. Plus, larger capacity batteries are normally in 12v (in my experience)

Not bad- the GB printer was really cool... considering what it was.
Keep that around, unless you plan to sell it. The last thing you want to do is use it.
