Re: Laptop LCD in C64p?
IT shoudl be said that LCDs with the proper controller boards can be used. Go over to Lum,enLabs and then you'll find a site with many sized HD LCD panels, with controllers for inputs that handle RCA, to HDMI.

Re: Want for free: Xbox 360 HD DVD drive
All I need out of it is the laser part, so one with anything but the laser broken will do the trick. That's why I asked for a free one. I meant to post that in the first post. you're going to make a laser pointer that can pop baloons aren't ya. Have fun because the beam reflects of the balloon into...

Re: Screen Modulization idea...maybe?
i think I'm gonna try using a serial cable...sturdy quality, and it has plenty of pins...I just need to buy a Psone screen. AV seems like the format to go with, simply because every console uses it. I also gotta find some magnets. I think that's a very good idea, and I might go with it myself for t...

Yes I do have room. It'll be outside of the case.XCVG wrote:Ah, good point. But do you REALLY have room for a cart slot anyway? The Onestation has minicarts with different pirate games on them.

Re: Dual WLOG| The NWES and the NESPSP
But what games can be played on it? I know Foir around 40 bucks I'd have a screen and everything, but a lack of games might hurt the deal...
If I get a NOAC, and a screen I can play almost every game. Onestation can't.

Do I want the kensington or the mini?

Re: Screen Modulization idea...maybe?
down side: you'd have to standardize the shape of the portables you make (to a certain extent) That's not much of a downside anyway, considering that's what you'd have to do to use differently-sized screens. I still like the USB idea better, but I'm biased :P YES, but that extra pin is just an extr...

Re: Screen Modulization idea...maybe?
I like how now that this forum has the shrinking down of consoles down pat, now everybody is trying to make everything a standard.... Why hasn't anybody thought of this so long ago!!! Actually your idea is very cool, and not that hard to do. The screen could use USB (+,ground, Composite or R,G,B) RG...

I am using an NEs. It's just repainting it, shoving NES controllers in wiimote shells, and making a custom pin connector.XCVG wrote:GFO is right, OneStation would work great for a portable. As for the WiiNES (sorry, had to make the joke) use a NES.

Re: LED Driver
Leds already last long when they are set up for the voltage they are rated with proper resistors. They also have the highest lumen per watt (whatever that figure is). The thing I think we need to improve on, is uniform lighting. If you look at most consoles, you'll see very bright corners. It isn't ...

I've said this before, and will continue to say this in big bold letters. IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER FOR SURE, DON'T ACT LIKE YOU DO. ESPECIALLY IF THE OTHER PERSON DOESN'T KNOW ANY BETTER. THIS IS HOW MYTHS, RUMORS, AND MISINFORMATION GETS SPREAD. Dark-Aries, this means you. All that I require i...

Re: Question on system requirments on a PC Game
If you just barely meet the system requirements, add this to the launch options: -dxlevel 81 It will force Portal to run in DirectX 8 mode, which can help with your frame rate. Is there a way to force DX9 SM2? If it also uses steam, yes. I was looking for a console command. That is the command, but...
