A Sega Genesis/CD/32X in a Saturn shell?
I woke up today with this idea in my head: Would it be possible to put the guts of a Genesis/Sega CD/32X setup inside a Saturn shell? Here's how I envision it: Have a Neptune-type Genesis/32X setup (like Rekarp's) inside the case and have the cartridge slot in the same position as the Saturn's cartr...

Well, the guy at the pawn shop lied. Doesn't surprise me, though. Glad you didn't get ripped off, at least. Also, it's a slim PS2? That's different; the large ones are easy to fix and the process is well-documented all over the internet. One of the main purposes of the slim one was to prevent the di...

XCVG: Where were you looking for those component cables at? You can get a set of Sony-brand cables with a USB cord for the PS3 (though they will work with the PS2 as well) at Wal-Mart for $40. $50 for just the component cables is, quite frankly, a rip-off. Also, is the PS2 an original large model, ...

It is not the newer one, the Flashback 2.0 looks like a 2600, the original flashback 1 looks like a 7800, but plays 2600 games, for some bizarre reason. Way to go, Atari marketing department. I doubt the majority of people who buy one nowadays would care enough to know the difference, really...

Yes, be careful of that, too. I don't think anyone has messed with a Saturn board enough to determine if there are hidden traces, or at least never documented such a thing. Also, another piece of advice: from what I've heard, the Saturn can fry very easily, so be very careful, and be prepared to buy...

I didn't think I'd be quizzed, so I didn't think I'd have to take notes! Are you guys questioning my honesty, though? Because I'm being 100% serious when I say I've been here since 2006. It's not like I made that up, because, quite frankly, it sounds almost creepy for someone to have lurked that long.

The Laserdisc outlasted VHS.   That's actually techincally correct, but if you really wanted to get picky, players and discs with the actual "LaserDisc" name only appeared in 1991. I'm honestly surprised; I thought they canned LaserDisc officially back in 2001-2002, but they were st...

This makes me sad. I never bought much at Circuit City (Wal-Mart is my main source for electronics, odd as it may sound), but I know my Dad bought a lot of computers there, and I did get my PS3 there, not to mention they often had many games I couldn't find at Wal-Mart any more. I never really cared...
