I cant buy it mysellf, but here is some advice. Most people here can build a portable for themselves, and if they do buy one, it is for the awesome design. I recommend putting it on ebay, there are people who dont even know about portables that would be thrilled to have a shot at buying it. good luc...

That would work, but remember, he wants to do it the easy way with no circuitry. If he did not know the difference between analog and digital joysticks, i doubt he will be able to accomplish what you are talking about. That said, i think a tilt controller would be both easier and cooler. I will have...

no, that is not it. I just spent like an hour looking for that tutorial, where is it? Luckily, i remember the basic idea. You take apart the potentiometers and cut the resistive disc into two parts with a common ground. Because the disc is resistive, you might need to pull up the input on one of the...

Hey, i was the one who told you to build one in youre ''what to do'' thread. :) The reason that you are having trouble is that the circuit is draining WAY too much power. By the time it gets to the last one, the power source cant handle it. Luckily, there is no reason to use 15. In fact, having that...

In your other thread, you asked which leg to solder it to. Interesting fact is that all game controllers nowadays (xbox, xbox 360, ps2, ps3) use the same joystick and stick click mechanism, so i have a bit of experiance with this. I believe that there are two positive legs and two negative legs. The...

I'm flattered. :) The rubber pads do throw you off a bit. Computer knowledge is good, it will help a lot. One thing that i would suggest to learn about electronics is just to take apart any old electronics you can get your hands on. Thats how i learned. Also, my respect to you for accepting my apolo...

I am somewhat bitter over a project very simailar to this one gone bad which wasted about $160 of my money...Anyway, the...

If you "suck" at electronics, dont have much money, and dont even know what to make your case out of (plastic?) dont even try this complex of a project. Design is easy. The project building is whats hard. Start out with an NES or SNES. And Benheck has not opened a store because most good modders can...
