Pal snes outputs RGB standard. But for some reason above my knowledge it's not your average RGB signal. MMMonkey has a tutorial on how to make an RGB cable for the PAL snes. It is indeed quite different from NTSC. http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/nintendo/pal-snes-rgb.htm you may want to include a ...

high quality s-video CXA1645
I succesfully did the RGB mod on a mini snes but since the S-video mod seems to be too difficult for me I'm going to use a CXA1645 ic salvaged from an old playstation. I've studied the datasheet and constructed an appropriate circuit for my application but there's one thing I don't quite understand ...

Gamesx.com doesn't seem to be working anymore. Since a lot of the video mods come from gamesx.com might I suggest that the links be updated? I was looking for an RGB mod for the SNES mini and gamesx.com seemed to be the only place, so I had to use the internet archive to go back to it. http://web.ar...

While it does look very cool I think all these extra characters are ruining the storyline. Like how are they going to explane what Darth Vader is doing in the fictional Soul Calibur world: "Darth Vader heard about Soul Calibur whilst he was taking a cruise with his super star destroyer and wanted to...

If you back a game up that is bigger then whatever size a floppy is, the Gamedoctor automatically splits up the rom into several parts called A,B,C and so on. Everytime a part is completed (one floppy) it tells you to insert a new floppy. The same goes for playing the game. You need to insert floppy...

I recommend the Game Doctor (SF7). It's a great machine with very high quality parts in it. It can back up lots of games (though not all, no not starfox either) and it also has the ability to back up save games and use cheats. The only downside is that it uses floppy's or a parallel port. I have two...
