Oh yea, I found out that the video ground on these Hong Kong monitors have to be hooked up to the battery ground. I wonder if that is the problem with the rolling screen on all the 3.5" screens ? (late reply) grounds between console and screen ALWAYS have to be connected, regardless of what screen ...

Yes, I agree. I hate finding old posts with files/images being down. If we do go this way, I'll modify the site a bit to have a "discussion" link functionality, to make it a bit more obvious than just the copyrights section.

Well actually, people have relocated the transformer before and had major problems. I don't remember if the problem was resolved or not, or what was thought to be the issue. You can't make the wires too long. It will have to be fairly close to the original to work, but folding should not be a probl...
