I would do it for $100 + cost of parts + you pay shipping once completed. I would also recommend a larger case, such as an Antec 900 Two. Also, 4GB of ram would be much better. I love Intel and nVidia but if you want better performance for cheaper, consider going with AMD and ATI. The Phenom II 555 ...

You can buy a XenoGC for like $5-10. Building your own isn't worth the time or effort.
