Re: NES case Worklog (Progression) **Large Images?**
Started painting with Krylon Fusion spray paint. Though I wouldnt of minded a primer to help fill small nitches in the epoxy. Just I couldn't find a gray any closer to the actual NES shell that appealed to me. As far as plastic spray paints I mean. http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj214/rikithesha...

Clamping the case an zenith screen case down so I can tack it with hot glue then move in with the epoxy. http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj214/rikitheshadow/DSC09911.jpg Got it as flat as I could but the screen is still a little more elevated than the case itself. http://i273.photobucket.com/albu...

NES case Worklog (Progression) **Large Images?**
Ok, working on a case for a NESp, thought I might share what I've done so far as an example or if anyone can throw me some suggestions. This is a Polycase AG-85 Going for the frakencase mod using Loctite Epoxy. http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj214/rikitheshadow/DSC09910.jpg http://i273.photobuck...

Re: PSone screen help
That I can't remember, there is a small surface mount fuse you have to jump if it's been blown. Might have to ask around. I'd still double check on all your wiring and maybe since the 5v+ mod made it smoke you might want to remove that. I'm no professional at this, I just go off what I've read about...

Re: wires (dont know where they go!)
I think it's just the video out to the screen. It is just the way he has the diagram, one wire leading out to the screen, but hes got it pointing to a different location. You can actually grab it at any point between those 2 resistors. Refer to his earlier diagram of the Video amp he mention earlier...

Re: PSone screen help
Oh ya, thats bad. Smoke is typically the sign of a dead Screen.
Was it really an RGB input?

Re: PSone screen help
Well its possible the screen can be dead.
What type of input are you feeding to the screen?
Have you tried the 5v input feed to the RGB side thats required sometimes for it to powerup.

Re: Joytech 8inch Digital LCD Slimline Monitor - Usable?
Its very possible that you could use that screen. As it may have a composite video input considering its designed for a PS2 console.
Can't say that we have any info on proper wiring for you on that screen. So..........you could take the risk and test it......

Re: PSone screen help
Well considering your horrible grammar and spelling I can't really make out what your saying besides that your having a problem running your PSone screen on a 7.5v battery. Lets start with the diagnosis: 1. What type of 7.5v battery are you using? Alkaline, Lithium, Ni-MH, Ni-Cad, Li-Poly? 2. Are yo...

Re: NES help?
Regardless, if never hurts to try and disable the lockout chip. But ya there is a slight possibility that the pins in the connector are sensitive to pressure and probably bend to the side and touch other pins causing a short when the cartridge is pushed down. I still hate that zero force insertion s...

Re: Original NES Mobo
Oh i chopped off the zero force insertion cart slot side and used the other half that is connected to the NES mobo to be used as the cart slot. Like in Ben's book. That way I wouldn't have to worry about having it at a specific angle............. That last photo is just me looking at what I had left...

Re: Original NES Mobo
On a second note, the wire is too thick to fit in the case I want so I've set this aside.

Re: Original NES Mobo
Bumping this to show my attempt and failure of relocating the cartridge slot........lol Think i may even ruined the chance of using this cartridge connector, i'll have to scrap it and use another because its such a pain to remove all the solder, electrical tape, and hot glue i used to connect all th...

Re: Super Mario RPG Version
Hey, I am about to order the screen and console for my snes portable project and just had a quick question about Super Mario RPG. I am going to be using a retro duo for the project and although i don't have a copy of Super Mario RPG yet (they are a million dollars as you are probably aware) I would...
