Re: PSTwo/Sony 5" LCD/RGB/green tint - Here's the complete FIX!
I'm totally broke, but I'd love to try this. I might ask around with some friends to see if anyone's got a Slim laying around (nearly everyone I know has moved on exclusively to the 360/PS3).

If I'm not mistaken, that's the actual Superjoy. You know, the NOAC's case.Basement_Modder wrote:What's with the N64 controller on the back?
Edit: Actually, maybe it isn't. I see what looks like the rumble slot. So..yeah, if that is an N64 controller, that is a bit puzzling.

Re: PSTwo/Sony 5" LCD/RGB/green tint - Here's the complete FIX!
Yeah, it sucked. Only the PS2 fried. The screen survived, thankfully. And if I ever get another PS2 slim, I still have the case too. Also, I was just re-reading the stickied thread, "PS2 RGB...If you've done it please come here!" and I totally forgot how involved I was with this stuff back then. Hah...

Re: "CHROME NES 2000!!!1"
:D Nice. Reminds me of my first portable's first case ( link 1 , link 2 ). I know it might sound funny, but somehow building a case out of cardboard and random junk was more fun than my later "better" cases. My PS2p case was pretty and smooth, and yet I still look back more fondly upon that old card...

Re: PSTwo/Sony 5" LCD/RGB/green tint - Here's the complete FIX!
Oh right right. Sorry, it's been about 2 years since I built my PS2p and for some reason I thought the two issues were the same. Now that you mention it, I do in fact remember having a switch for composite. My PS2p died so quickly after I built it, I sort of blocked a lot of that stuff out. I was so...

This is probably silly, but would you be willing to try a DVD movie in it and confirm that there's no green tint there either?

Hey dude, in case you didn't know, your tutorial is down (seems the whole site is). "This Account Has Been Suspended." Hope you get it back up, as I look forward to reading it.

Re: Not as bad as what happened to vomitsaw... But it sucks.
Did you talk to a lawyer? Insurance companies will do anything they can to get out of paying. As one of the local law firm ads on tv always say, "Insurance companies have lawyers working hard on their side, and so should you." If you haven't, you really should talk to one. Just talking to one about ...

Re: Quick Battery Question
As far as I know, Li-Ion batteries don't have a memory effect. Unless they go out of sync with each other, that is. But that's unlikely to happen as long as you don't use the cells individually for anything.

Re: Voltmeters!
I'm not sure how big the guts of those things are really, but why not go with the smallest one you can find, and cut the needle thing a lot shorter? Then make a backround for it of appropriate size.

Need help with an audio amp (schematics and resistors)
I can't read schematics. Nor do I know a lot of other fairly basic electronics stuff. I know, I'm lame. Building portables and things, I've actually never needed to learn how to read schematics and stuff. I learn as I go, really. I'm going to learn properly eventually, and I've tried my best to unde...
