Re: Samsung Blackjack in a Game Boy Case -Build Log-
The only question I currently have is how to replace the power button. The Samsung Blackjack power button has three leads rather than two so I was unsure if a standard tact switch would work and if not what should I use to make a new power button?

Re: Kindle Backlight
That is what I was going for actually, only not green . Rather than backlight I should have said frontlight.wallydawg wrote:I personally think it would take too much away from the "looks & reads like paper" aspect, but it is too bad it doesn't have "day-glo" backlighting like those old digital watches

Kindle Backlight
Anyone tried to LED backlight a Kindle? I have a Kindle 2 and would rather mod it than buy a silly clip on light.

Re: Samsung Blackjack in a Game Boy Case -Build Log-
Holes drilled for the buttons. I still need help on that bezel. I am researching the pinout for Samsung's proprietary connector so I can rewire it to use regular USB and a 3.5mm stereo jack. I am also trying to see if it would be possible wire the Micro SD slot to fit regular SD cards. http://i1210....

Samsung Blackjack in a Game Boy Case -Build Log-
I am planning to put my old Samsung Blackjack into an original Game Boy case. The QWERTY keyboard gives me plenty of connection points to wire buttons for various emulators. Below is a concept image. The only issue is that the Blackjack screen is slightly smaller than the Game Boy and I need to make...

Re: replacing the internal battery
You can use two rechargeable AA or AAA batteries and it works fine. If you use lithium it will eventually leak acid everywhere and you don't want that I bought a rechargeable 2032 coin cell off of ebay to replace mine but as long as it is rechargeable and around 3v it doesn't matter.

Re: Red/White and Metal/Wood CNC SNESp's
@LoB I noticed that where you removed the power button you soldered in a U shaped piece of wire. I did the same however my SNES no longer works, hence my extended hiatus. On the underside of the board next to the holes where the U shaped wire goes through there are two globs of solder and it appears...
