Help! Is this safe?
Hi, I want to take my ps3 power source to share the same input as my monitors, so if i solder on the wires with 10gauge wire to the outlet would that be safe? I made a pic below to show what i am tryin to do:

Just got a few questions on grounding, I see that on the power source of a ps3 or any electornic device (monitor), on 3 pronged power source, there is a GROUND which screws in to the metal frame of the device, and 2 other wires which are the main power source...what exactly does the grounding wire d...

ok i got the 220 uf at 35v at radioshack and no cigar, does not power on at all, even when i try the external powe source where it used to work the fan does not run, i even tried flipping the capicator but no cigar, any idea? update: I used the multimeter and found outt that before the current goes ...
