Google Problems
Okay, here's the problem: whenever I click on a google link, about half the time it sends me to some random weird BS site. It works fine when I manually copy the URL into the bar at the top (whatever it's called). I tried running spybot search and destroy, immunized my PC, and then ran hijackthis! b...

Re: how do u take the screws out?
I removed mine using the nasty pen trick: first you take out the pen ink cartridge, then you melt the pen tip and jab it into the hole, hopefully taking the shape of the screw (it may take a few tries to get it to work). I don't really like this method, but it is great if you have little to no tools...

Re: How to fix scratches on PS2 games.
I personally use the toothpaste method, I've heard you can use peanut butter, but I've never tried it (or am willing to admit that I've tried it!). That method is really only a temporary fix, if you really want them fixed you should resurface them with some machine or do-hicky thing.

Re: djing/mixing, etc
I don't currently DJ/mix anything, but I've been wanting to try mixing up some 8-bit stuff with DMGs, LSDJ, NESs, etc. The only thing I really need is a mixer!

Re: Gamecube SD Load
OKay, I found the SD Load slot B dol file, but I get an error when booting it up. When it says 'insert gecko into slot b' I remove it from Slot A, put it in Slot B, press A, then press A to look for games, and I get an error saying it cannot search my card or something. What should I do?

Gamecube SD Load
I've been running SD loader or whatever it is called to run gamecube games off of a SD card. The only problem is, I can only figure out how to boot games off of memory card slot A, not B. How would I go about booting it off Slot B? Could someone point me in the direction of a tutorial if possible?

Crusty paint
I just stenciled a shirt with acrylic paint, and in one area it is completely hard and crusty (I put multiple layers, then realized how stupid that was) and I was wondering how I could remove some of this paint. I read that rubbing alcohol removes it, but would that apply to my situation?

Re: Desoldering SNES Cart Slot
A desolder iron or one o' dem solder suckers works really well for big crap like a cart slot. Soldering braid would work too, but you might need quite a bit of it. Using soldering braid is also fairly straight foreword: get soldering iron hot, put braid over solder joint (or whatever), and the solde...

Re: GBO Overclocking
I'll try 22 mhz but I think I will still have the same problem that I had with the 14 mhz crystal (text distortion), since I mainly use if for pokemon grinding

GBO Overclocking
What is the fastest stable overclock you guys have got from your GBOs? I currently have mine installed with a 12 mhz crystal, but it starts to distort the text (in pokemon) when I run it at 14 mhz

Re: (OMG56KRUN) SS's Tower of Power. (My workshop)
At first I just clicked the link and didn't read the title, and thought you were building a half pipe or huge mini ramp (It's 1AM over here in Texas!). Is this thing legal? Did you have to get a permit? Can you even get a permit for something like this? Either way it is cool, but kinda weird. I coul...
