I don't know if you want to go this rout, but D-Link makes routers that have a serial port for an external modem. You can configure the D-Link to dial your ISP and it will share your dial-up internet with all the computers connected to it, even Wi-Fi ones. The router that I use is a DI-824VUP, but y...

Zelda shows no burn in my arms after 4 hours straight. Boxing and Tennis will give you a work out after about 10 minutes, boxing especially! Wow does that one wear you out. Just playing normal games is fine though, and OMG the Wiimote is sooooo much more like using a mouse than gamepads ever thought...

My wife and I both keep our GBAs and a DS on a table by the toilet. I also keep the past two months of Nintendo Power. I knew other people surely had to figure out that a GBA or DS is great toilet time. Just don't get too involved in something like Advance Wars or your legs will go to sleep. Believe...

I preordered my Wii. :) I am probably going to stop by the EBGames on midnight Saturday night to get it too. Just so you guys know, I live in a fairly small town. My local EBGames got 10 Wii's to preorder, and there was over 20 people in line. So, even if a store gets 53 units in, they could be sold...

Wow, I like that acetone trick. I wonder how hard it would be to shred up the excess styrene to use in a project instead of bondo. I worked at an injection modling plant for about a year when I was younger and they recycled the bad plastic parts by throwing them in a HUGE grinder that shredded up th...

I've installed an Afterburner into an original GBA. Something like that would work great actually. It's a really small LED mounted to a very thin plastic bar that is as wide as the screen. It has a thin sticky plastic that connects to the "light bar" and sticks to the front of LCD screen. You have t...

I'm trying to weigh the difference between cutting the PCB and using tact switches. This XBox controller's PCB looks awefully intemidating actually. I suppose I could use some of those square pretraced PCBs to hold the tact switches in place behind the buttons. That would also give me something to m...

GamegenIe, when you get done with your project, can you please forward me your final notes and schematics? Thanks *Edit: Sorry, I don't like being mean actually. Man, are you new with technical forums? It does offend people when someone comes in demanding things. What you ask is nearly impossible, u...

Geforce 4 MX440 is worse. My wife currently has a FX5500 and it can run some games, but all of the new ones require a better card. To maybe help you get that card to work, you could reinstall Direct X 9.0c. Also check the specs on The Movies. Your card may not be listed. You could also see if they h...
