Re: broken superjoy???
It's possible the breaking could've shorted the power with ground...tho if that were the case it shouldn't be powering on at all. Hm. Well, you should check the leads anyway to make sure none of them connect to each other just the same.

Re: broken superjoy???
Hm. Well, the only other thing I can think of is the board's video amp may be bad. Unfortunately, I have idea where you would find it or what all it'd consist of on the SJ board.

Have you tried resetting the cart at all? The cart slot may need a good cleaning...

Re: NES to video out problems
Yeah, sorry, the board's pretty dead
But as far as I can tell, it looks like everything is hooked up right...only thing I can think of is either you're getting a bad connection with the cart, or the vid amp transistor isn't working right.

Re: MGC 2013 thread?!?
I wouldn't think the Panasonic Q would use different screws than the normal Gamecube. It's the same one I use for the Sega Nomad so there will be means to open the Panasonic Q at the show if it is the same. Hopefully the fan is just dusty and got cracked or damaged in any way. Have to watch some Q ...

Re: MGC 2013 thread?!?
I agree, that does sound like it's just dirty in there. As long as people have the needed security bits, I'd be happy to clean it out for ya.

Re: NES turns off by itself
I'd say it's probably the lockout chip just being it's annoying self. Have you tried disabling it?
If it's not that, it could mean your power brick is bad, or the 7805 is going bad. Both of which are easily dealt with.
