Only if it sucks :P It sucks. The hose was melted though which deminished suction, along with all the filters it has and gunk stuck inside the whole thing. If I took it apart and cleared the crap and replaced the hose, I think it could be usable since it was a pretty powerful vacuum to begin with, ...

So far I've got it to an estimated height of 5cm, but I can't confirm that until after I finish grinding down the heat sink. It gets incredibly hot and I don't have gloves to keep myself insulated from the heat. 11cm x 13.6cm x 5cm vs 15cm x 16cm x 11cm. I can cut 4mm off the front of the board sinc...

What about "Pii Wii's Playhouse"? It was an option along with Pii Wii Herman... But that man scares the hell out of me! He looks like a pedophile and he randomly shouts all the time! Then again, he was arrested for jacking off in a porno theatre http://www.mugshots.org/hollywood/pee-wee-herman.html...

Make the DVD smaller. Tips? So far, I can remove about 0.4cm from the base of the drive and most of the excess on the back of the drive for the fan to go. Removing the rubber gromits will reduce the size slightly but the ditch in the laser bay and cut a bit more plastic and get myself another 0.2mm...

Gamecube Micro
OK, I've started a new project called the Gamecube Micro. I want to make the system as small as physically possible. My starting list: One gamecube Plastic So far, I've desoldered every port except the AV out and the controller board connector. This isn't a portable mod just so you know. Progress so...

Homebrew lightgun anyone? Update: I made a request for pinout on the DVD unit and mobo connection. I made a quick diagram of the DVD unit front and back so if you rip the traces like I did, you now have an alternative soldering point. http://img426.imageshack.us/img426/6536/gamecubedvdunitfrontij4.g...

With all that rust, I highly doubt it would work.. Plus that thing will be loaded with dried on salt. The best thing you can do is wash it down thoroughly with distilled water and leave it to dry, but the chances of it working are highly slim. Even if you do manage to boot it, I can guarantee the la...
