Re: PS2 slim SCPH-90000 Discovery
I was responding to mako321. Did you use this version in your portable? If not, why did you choose the version that requires 8.4v and is larger?

Re: PocketPlay (Psone Portable Worklog)
As of now, I have decided to choose a playstation 2 over a psone. After finding out it can run on the same voltage and be made smaller, the switch was obvious. I will be using the same case for the portable. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/gamefreak11/PSProject/DSCF2137.jpg Here is the compon...

PS2 slim SCPH-90000 Discovery
I haven't seen any mention of this on the forums. The SCPH-90000, with the internal power supply, runs fine off of 7.2 volts. I just hooked up my battery now to test it. With the removal of the internal power supply, the unit is basically just as small as the psone slim motherboard. (unfortunately t...

Re: PocketPlay (Pstwo Portable Worklog)
Next, I used a dremel to cut pieces out of a psone controller. I then made the appropriate cuts in the case and superglued and epoxied them in. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/gamefreak11/PSProject/pspic8.jpg Cut everything smaller than the needed size so you can expand it as needed. It is be...

PocketPlay (Pstwo Portable Worklog)
PocketPlay - PstwoPortable I was not satisfied with my last psone portable (which was made from balsa wood and resembled a cake), so now after finishing my snesp, I have decided to start a ps2 portable, using a zn-40 case. I will update regularly with progress updates. There will be two internal 3....

Super Nintendo Portable
Finally, I completed this project. I was going to be done a lot sooner, but a bunch of mishaps occured. When I sealed everything up, the down button was not responding to well. I went and opened the case, but I had hotglued everything so securely I had to rip the controller board out. This caused a ...
