Re: Super All In One Console Project.
Use dev units of the systems your are going to put in the case and make good use of the back expansion slots. But, if you use dev units, the cost goes from X to 20X. But it would be cool to make this to look like an actualy dev box- search one up on the interent if you don't know what I'm talking ab...

Re: Second attempt at a ps2 laptop
Everything is expensive, you'll quickly come to realize. Best thing is to get a job, because then you can fund really nice laptop projects. Either that, or have ways to cut costs (visit a computer recycling centre for parts!) What you can do is buy a component to VGA adapter. Those exist and are som...

Re: Hyperspin Portable
I'm doing something like this, and I really shouldn't. I'm using a nano ITX board, 5"^2, and it uses an embedded processor. a Mini ITX board will either un a desktop processor, which is still too powerful for batteries, and if you get an embedded one, make sure it has a powerful enough chipset to ru...

Re: Super All In One Console Project.
Not bad. I'd like to see a completed system.
Front of it looks like the Dolphin dev box, minus the disk drive.

Futureshop is not a battery store. It is an electronics store.

Re: some gamecube portable questions
2. Probably not. You could try camera stores, if they even exist anymore. camera store as in future shop? Exactly. I know of two camera stores where I am. Two. And I live in a big city. If you don't like online shopping, try a local battery store. Not sure about other places, but I've got a great p...

Re: Hyperspin Portable
Hmmm. Doesn't seem that possible, especially for a PORTABLE system. What you want, and what batteries are going to be able to power are polar opposites. A graphics card to run PS2, Gamecube and Xbox- -PS2? Maybe, same with Gamecube. Xbox? No way Jose. I don't think there's even an emulator out for i...

Re: Project PSIO - The long awaited, PlayStation 1 SD Card Hack!
Yeah, I suppose.
BUT- telling your friends that your PS2 is loading off an SD card is way cooler
I have no other reasons.

Hehe- Work on a PS2 SD card loader next. I would legitimately donate $100+ for that.
Seriously though.

Re: Project PSIO - The long awaited, PlayStation 1 SD Card Hack!
Like above, I'd be willing to donate.
I'd also do beta testing if you need it. In any case, I'd be highly interested in buying one as soon as they come out.
