aei components lcd not powering up.
i ordered an lcd from aei components and whenit arrived it would not power up, i tried using a 5 volt source and a 12 volt adapter. Can anyone help me?

Awesome! it doesn't look too bad! I had an idea for a NESBOYSP a couple years back, I made some thumbnail sketches but I could'nt think of any ways not make the case huge and bulky, anyways, good luck! I can't wait to see it when your finished!

It is not the newer one, the Flashback 2.0 looks like a 2600, the original flashback 1 looks like a 7800, but plays 2600 games, for some bizarre reason. :roll: Way to go, Atari marketing department. I doubt the majority of people who buy one nowadays would care enough to know the difference, really...

That is the original flashback, which is actually powered by the same hardware as an NES (Ironic, eh?). The FlashBack 2.0 is actually a real atari on a chip, which you can add a cart slot to.
