Re: My first handheld (N64P) is complete
Well, it isn't my FIRST, I did a Wii portable a while back, and did a PS2p a while back, but never posted it because the DVD drive burnt up.

Uhh, I hope this counts as a valid entry... http://spinout182.com/p/n64/P1160887th.png Running: http://spinout182.com/p/n64/P1160891th.png Thickness: http://spinout182.com/p/n64/P1160884th.png I think this portable applies, as most of the work was done after Portable-Palooza '09 was started.

Re: Gamecube portable project worklog.
78** regulators get very hot when they have larger loads, I would recommend connecting your 7808 to a heatsink

Re: The Afternoon projects thread.
so how's that set up, is there a switch in there for the av, or is it just whatever's on with all consoles going directly to a single output. Also, if there is a switch, does it apply to the consoles power as well so only one is on at a time, or did you just grab an extension cord with a 3 way spli...

Re: My first handheld (N64P) is complete
Fixed analog stick, at the expense of clicking it for Z, as I could not find another analog stick that clicked. Oh well. Anyways, would it be alright to enter this in the Portable Palooza? I did start it for the last one, but I didn't get that far. I only decided to complete it recently. Also: How m...

Re: My N64p thread
One issue I'm having is that the screen has some wavy interference going on. It's not an issue with my N64 either, as I tested it on a different composite video input and it still had the same effect. I'll try and post a picture later, because "wavy interference" probably isn't too descriptive. I'm...

Re: My first handheld is complete
how long did it take you? I started it wayyyyy back when for this competition. How do you have the l/r/z buttons set up? L and R are triggers on the side of the portable, Z is both clicking on the analog stick (it's a playstation (2? iirc) analog stick), and with a buttton on the bottom/back of the...
