I arranged the Pokemon theme for a marching band. Hopefully we'll be able to play it.
Here's a sort of crappy MIDI-ish file if you want to hear what it sort would sound like. Hopefully if we play it, I'll get a decent recording.

Kids these days...
I was reading this article on Wired and it reminded me of something that happened to me the other night. I introduced my 6 year old cousin, who is obsessed with Mario, a Super Nintendo. I let him play Yoshi's Island, which he was decent at because he had played it on his DS already. When I blew in t...

Nokia 6800
Does anyone have any of the Nokia 6800 series? I need a phone with a keyboard because I'm sick of texting on my RAZR, and these are pretty cheap on eBay, plus, they look awesome. Are they good? The newest model, the 6822 is from 2005, I think. That's the one I want. Is it a decent phone? I don't nee...

(In order of proficiency) Clarinet (Selmer) Tenor Sax (Belmonte) Electric Guitar (Epiphone) Acoustic Guitar (Yamaha) Piano/Keyboard Drums (Slingerland with Sabian cymbals... I think) Accordion? We already had this thread, I remember typing almost the exact same list, but now I've added Tenor Sax. Pi...

Scratching? Turntables?
Anyone do that sort of thing? I want to get into it, but I have no idea about anything pretty much. I have a basic understanding of what I need, but where do I get vinyl and stuff?

Re: Life after People
I watched it a little, but it was a while ago. Sorry if this is the wrong show. Is this the show where they showed how birds evolved into little ground digging things with claws? I thought that was pretty random. The whole time I was thinking "Where are they getting this information?" I liked the bi...

AAAH NOT A WORD.
And when people duck in the rain. Great, the rain takes an extra .0001 seconds to hit your head.

Do you know if it's the same keyboard as the first iBook? If so, I think we have a deal.

Re: Want to collaborate on a video game music cover?
Wow!! That is a great cover!
So yeah, there are harmonizing vocals. Awesome!
If any of you have videos or recordings of you playing (this song, or anything else) please post them! We should get an idea of what kind of talent we have.

Re: Want to collaborate on a video game music cover?
Okay, so I guess our first song will be the Pokemon theme (the first one, from the show.). Or we could vote. Anyway, if we were to cover the theme exactly, it would mean we need: Singer Guitar Bass Keyboard Drums But, no one says it has to be just like the show! Maybe an awesome synth part would be ...

Want to collaborate on a video game music cover?
I was going to maybe shoot a few YouTube videos of me playing my sax or clarinet to some video game tunes, but I remembered that this forum has a ton of musicians who are also video game fans! I think it would be cool if we made a few split screen videos of us playing our instruments to some video g...

As in, did I beat the game, or is there a box and manual? Neither, to answer your question. (Whatever it was)

Works just fine. Looks brand new. Not yellowed or anything. Pins look clean.
Any takers? Is $50 too much?
