Touch sensitive super nintendo
Posted this on MR a while ago, but decided I might start to visit here more. I modded this super nintendo to turn on with a touch, and off with two touches. It's basically just an arduino controlling a relay. [yt=(400,400)]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVODZzuJwMs[/yt] The power switch was covered ...

I thought I was jealous when you got a 64DD...

Re: Stuntpenguin007's N64 portable WIP
Thanks. I'll probably go with that 3.5 inch screen for my next portable. I'm planning on using the PS1 screen for this one for now.

Stuntpenguin007's N64 portable WIP
I picked up an N64 with expansion pack and a controller for $20, so I figured I'd give portablizing another shot. 6/22/11 I got the expansion pack relocated. I'm surprised that it actually worked. It took me about 3 - 4 hours total to do. The last half hour was mostly troubleshooting and looking for...

Re: Mysterious Megaman II GB Cart
Judging by the glob-topped chip and the misspelling, I'd have to say its a pirate cart. You also said it says "For China Only", which reminds me of this: http://www.nesworld.com/n64piracy.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . Its a pirate cart that says "For Hong Kong Use Only". Altho...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Grr. Ebay pulled my CD64. I'll still be buying this, but probably not at release now.
Good work! Can't wait to get my hands on one.

I don't know about the parallel to USB thing, but as for the dead link... can you access this page? http://n64.icequake.net/mirror/slaanesh ... 4/CD64.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Trying clicking on the link to the schematic from that page.

Re: CD64 Plus - N64 backup unit
Can I use it to dump roms/save data to my pc? Yes, but you will need a parallel port adapter. I'm not sure if it's a standard adapter you can buy or not, but the schematics to build one can be found here: http://n64.icequake.net/mirror/slaanesh79/Backup_Units/CD64/ppa.jpg" onclick="window.open(this...

Re: CD64 Plus - N64 backup unit
If you develop homebrew for the N64, you can use this to run it on an actual N64 console. It is also used for playing backups of games. You can burn roms onto discs and play them.

Is there a temperature probe on that thing? Maybe you could hook it up to a microcontroller and have some fun with it (the temp. probe). I think it's called a thermoresistor.

abs cement vs bondo?
I'm going to be starting on an N64 portable soon (glares at millions of other unfinished projects), and I'm wondering if it's better to use bondo or abs cement. For example, if cut a hole in my case and put in a piece of plastic with the button holes on it, do I bond it to the case with abs cement o...
