i took it off of an old rf unit i had and it was only attached with the plastic so it should work without it, i cant test the old rf unit because its fried other wise i would just use the old one instead of the one im using now

can anyone tell me what this is?
on the xbox 360 rf unit there is a metal "box" on the board (marked in red in the picture) can anyone tell me what it is or if i can remove it? it looks like it is just held to the board by plastic pins and its getting in the way of the case im making.

no problem, and im doing the opposite, i converted to the power supply, and now im making my case, just got my 1/4 inch lexan tonight. im considering water cooling it but thats another $100.00 so ill probably just stay with a lot of fans.

i just converted to the pc psu tonight, after some minor tweaking i got it to work, ill be posting a tutorial on a very easy way to do it with easy instructions tmrro.

well i have the two back fans sucking air out, and that's the only one blowing air in so it gives it a better airflow and air circulation, but anyway thanks for the advice

Ok so lately i have been adding fans to my xbox 360, and as of now i have a 70mm fan on the top of the case blowing air into the console, but i soon want to replace it with a 120mm fan, my question is, are there any 120mm case fans that can move about 90+ cfm with a dBa around 40? any links or advic...
