Boy, good luck with this one. This'll be a handsome thing once it's done.
Re: Hello
Yeah, that'd be awesome. Imagine the possibilities...
Re: Hello
Wow, nice work so far. I'd love to see you complete the universal controller project. I assume you just wired the buttons, joysticks, etc to the "cartridge" slot? Then the cartridge has the controller's brains and uses the universal controller's inputs?

Hah, neat. Can this be done with other things besides audio? Such as graphics, etc.?

Re: The Afternoon projects thread.
I copied my Sonic CD as an ISO, downloaded the Japanese soundtrack and converted it to WAV, used a Sega .CUE program and burned it all to a CD-R. Now I can play the US Sonic CD with that sweet Japanese soundtrack. The odd thing is the opening animation still uses "Sonic Boom"... Wow, nice. Didn't k...

Upgrading an Android phone?
I got an unlocked Nexus S for Christmas, and it came with Android 2.3.4. When I got it, I saw I could upgrade the OS to 3.something(don't remember what). I started the update, and saw an Android robot standing next to a white box with an orange arrow coming out of it. After a while the image turned ...

Looks awesome. I'm surprised the Rev a mobo can get that small. Is the small button below the dpad start?

Yeah, I think the red tape should stay. It'd not look as good without it.

Re: Help w/ powering an N64?
Okay, thanks. I think I'll just find a 1.8k resistor. Is there a calculator that'll tell me how long a given mAh rating will last on an N64? I thought there was, somewhere.

Re: Help w/ powering an N64?
Thanks for helping me out! Could you explain the math behind wiring 7 13k resistors in parallel?

Re: Help w/ powering an N64?
Thanks, that guide really helped! I'll have to measure the transformer dimensions when I get home (I'm on vacation right now) and see which batteries will fit. Is this what I want to step down the voltage? In the guide, SS mentions that it's possible to combine two resistors to make a 1.87k resistor...
