Re: N64 case idea
When it comes to the case, the ultimate goal is to get your portable to fit inside of it (and of course to make it look nice). So if your portable fits inside then yes it will work, if not then it won't.

Re: Custom N64 Paintjob
The case alone? I wouldn't bother, not many people really have a n64 mobo lying around that isn't being used for a n64 portable or fried. And those who have a nintendo 64 usually don't want to risk taking it out of it's original case and breaking it. If you plan on selling it as a console, guts and ...

Re: N64 Charging
Well first of all its SPST not DPDT and second if you want that you will have to get a three way switch, the switch will have 4 pins on the bottom instead of 3 and going from left to right I would wire it up like this: 1. everything that requires power (n64, psone screen, etc.) 2. batteries 3. charg...

led modded psone screen
I'm going to led mod my psone screen and the guide that I am using says to solder a 10ohm resister to the +5v supply on the back of the board and then solder the positive ends of all the leds to the other end of the 10ohm resister (and of course ground all the leds). However I heard that the guide I...

Re: battery n64 portable
you could wire 3 of those batteries together to get 9.6v but then you would need another regulator for the screen (if you are using a psone screen).

Re: Analog Stick Swap
I think the original post was all about using a psp analog stick in a n64 controller because the gamecube stick is too big and I think that blaze was trying to offer a circuit that would convert the psp analog stick to a n64 format where as pkmnjunky7's analog stick is cheaper, it is also much bigge...

I would pay about $100 for it (I'm not interested in buying it, thats just an estimate infact I'm planning on building one of these myself once my exam week is over). As for the name... The Stand64.

Re: Question regarding cart slot relocation.
There are two pins on the n64 mobo that arent included on the cart slot, it is important that you skip these two pins when you are relocating your cart slot or it won't work.

Re: how do i wire controller??!!?!
Well once you take apart the controller you will notice there are solder pads labelled with what button they control, all you do is positive to the solder pad and solder negative to ground and your done. Past that you just got to mount the spst switch on the case. All you really have to do is follow...
