Re: Elephant64 Worklog
What I did was extremely inefficient. I drilled small holes at the base of the buttons, stripped some solid wire, and put it through and down through the perf board. I then bent it over when the button was at the highest position i wanted to be like. What I would suggest is to cut out the bits from ...

Re: Elephant64 Worklog
My screen is not outputting any sound. I think Its because the volume is all the way down and I can't change it...I relocated the volume and brightness buttons but they aren't working. The tact switches are connected to the same places that the orignals were by some IDE cable but NONE of the switche...

What I would do is get a small piece of relatively thick foam or just some plastic and cut it to a good size to go imbetween the Z and POT. or you could just run some uninsulated wire (Solid) across them and hot glue them down to the case so that the stay in place.

Re: SuperPad 64 joystick mod. Gamecube stick inside :)
The red wires are just positive lines and the black one is a ground line. The red ones are interchangeable or you could just use one and bridge them like the ground is. I'm not sure why there are two positive lines because there doesn't need to be. VD1 stands for voltage and VC1 stands for common me...

Well I think it's about time for a new iron....I can probably finish this project with the one I have now because there is very minimal soldering left to do, but my iron has completely oxidized. Stupid wet sponge. I want a station but theyre expensive. :( I'm also going to get a desoldering iron and...

If your using a NOAC you can go a lot smaller than AG-85 or ZN-40. Shockslayer's putting an N64 into an AG-64. But if you don't want to cram it all into a small case the former two are great, comfortable cases.

Re: SuperPad 64 joystick mod. Gamecube stick inside :)
Little bump here for probably a noob question (sorry :/) I'm attempting at doing this mod with the SuperPad 64 (by Performance) same one as the black one in the picture above. When rewiring the GC c-stick to the super pad, is it ok to just rip off the 4 white wires that connect the C-stick board to...

I couldn't get this to work but here you go.
Oh and make sure your x axis is on top...doesn't work on bottom for some reason (at least it didn't for me) probably resistance inconsistancy
