Quick question, why leave the disk exposed? Customer wanted it that way. It has no problem working that way 'cos the disc is, say the word, 'sunk' there. You can play without touching or it can be left on a surface on its back. I'm working on one with magnetized disc cover right now, as commission ...

I know of this amp Ashen. I just thought it'd be helpfull to know that easy amp for future reference. Do you have any idea about the new color pot he uses? Appearently, he uses 5 volts with it. Any idea?

This reads fine. Maybe your discs do not get the right angle while spinning due to gravity. Check for that; it may help..
