Re: Question about battery volatage
Series Diagram (removed) Disclaimer: This is approximate, if the load (resistance) of the two different devices varies it won't be quite this exact, but it'll still be close. That seems very wrong. I know that if both loads are of an equivalent resistance they will have the same voltage drop across...

Disclaimer: This is approximate, if the load (resistance) of the two different devices varies it won't be quite this exact, but it'll still be close. Actually, you can have two series loads with the same resistance, but if one's just a bunch of resistors and the other involves some sort of inductiv...

Re: Looking for Information on Laptop Screen Connection.
The only thing to watch out for with DVI is whether you need DVI-D or DVI-A. If you have DVI-I, that works with either version. :) (Side note: DVI-A is also compatible with VGA, and DVI-D is also (mostly) compatible with VGA.) You can find more info on the different flavors of DVI at http://en.wikip...

Re: How to use a ps3 controller directly on the n64 or gamcube
you can use a ps2 controller directly on a gamecube with a $10 adapter from ebay. ...and this has what to do with using a PS2 controller on an N64? N64 and Gamecube aren't the same controller. :wtf: cool story? so if the dpad is on the left analog stick, what are we going to use for an analog stick...

Re: How to use a ps3 controller directly on the n64 or gamcube
It might be easier to use a PS2 controller instead of a PS3 controller. Even if you could, the layout on the N64 with A, B + C-buttons ..and the Playstation layout of X, l_l, /\, O completely clash, and would make everything difficult to play. Only way around that would be to mod the controller with...

Re: Stumped again
How do I make a naked dreamcast think that it's closed. The disk isn't spinning... :? When the lid is closed the gear on it presses a small momentary switch. Either find something to hold the momentary switch in the closed position or wire a non-momentary switch in parallel with it. A third option ...

Re: NES 80's Laptop
I remember TVs with doors like that, use little adjusters to set what channel each button went to. Before I read the description I just thought it was the speaker grill. You might be able to make room for a second controller if you use wireless controllers to free up the space the cord normally take...

Re: I need help with the PicoPSU
Last I checked, a PicoPSU is an ATX power supply. Try jumpering between pin 14 (PS_ON) and pin 15 (GND) on the connector that would normally go into a motherboard and see if that helps. I know you need to do that to use a standard ATX psu as a 12V bench supply.

Reset switch methods.
I've noticed two different methds used for adding a reset switch to a Dreamcast. One is simply adding a NC pushbutton in series with the power button. The other involves adding a NO pushbutton to ground a specific solder pad on the motherboard. What exactly are the advantages/disadvantages to each m...

Re: Is it possible
Sounds like the "SuperCard SD" cartridge that I have for my GBA. (The only game I really use it for is the GBA port of robotfindskitten, mostly I just used it for playng mp3s in the car with a tape adapter, and for watching movies and reading text files on the go, back before I had a decent laptop.)
