Ok, but what if the 3.7V ones had a protection circuit?
The screen i'm using was bought from another modder, but they aren't sure what kind it is.

Re: Would it be a bad idea to overclock my n64?
I don't know how to over-clock a N64, but I'm sure you already have that part figured out. Considering some say it is necessary to have heat sinks AND a fan even without over-clocking it, I would imagine that a fan with good heat sinks would be needed for an over-clocked N64. Having said that, all y...

I confident that the only SNESP you would get for that price is the FC-16 GO. It isn't bad at all, and it's about $50.

People use Camcorder batteries like these. You get 2 batteries (4 cells) and a car/wall charger for $8.45 (free shipping)

Re: Regulator HELP! NOW! PLEASE!
I don't think so, but what if I added a 3.7V battery. 7.5+3.7 equals about 11V which should be enough.
If I had 11V what resistor would I need for the pth08080 (he resistor affects the voltage output.)

Re: Regulator
I haven't tried soldering htssop packages, and i would really prefer the simplest regulator possible. The 8" screen i'm using doesnt run on lower voltages.
If anyone has a link to a simple 7.5V to 12V step up regulator, please tell me!!!

Re: Would this work?
Oh, I see now that the first regulator outputs 12V from 5V. But would the second one work? It looks like it has the same problem. What regulator could I use to increase 7.5V to 12V???

I have tested and 7.5V doesn't work. I guess I'll go with the first regulator

It's for a 8" Screen. This regulator is another option?

Would this regulator work for stepping 7.5V to 12V. It should, but just checking to be sure.
