Yeah I know, but a nes cart is bigger than a controller, so it might be possible.. There are some really small screens out there..
Batteries are a problem though, maybe a thin lithium ion battery, AA's are too thick

Since this is possible, I guess your idea is possible too..
I remember seeing a mod of a NES in a SNES cart, but I can't find the link..

I realize this is a double post, but has anyone had better results with one solution or another?? There are replacement connectors on ebay and other sites which have stronger pins made of the yellow/goldish metal (same stuff used for other high quality video cable-connectors) I think those are prob...

I think you already answered your own question as all the PS3 aspects, were "OK" and "decent", while the 360's were "Great" and "Amazing". You also mentioned Bluray is kinda pointless.. The only other think I can think of is that the PS3 has more power and better graphics.. But we all know that has ...

Yeah, he could have used this topic. But that's an easy one to miss..
But won't there be a "how to" on engadget or something, like he does with a lot of stuff he makes?

xbox is a better idea i think since you have a ton of emulator and everything can go of the hardrive including ps1 with slight audio error. I'd have to agree with that, I have a modded Xbox, and it's the perfect emulation machine.. If not, in HDAdvance softmodding you've mentioned a Network adapter...

@Bacteria Tristar is an awesome addon for the N64 that allows to play NES/Famicom and SNES games (they were sold as a "converter", but of course there are just clones inside), doesn't work with the FX SNES games though.. The tri-stars were also made for the SNES (I have one actually), you can play N...

Yeah you should repost it, this forum is like one great archive of information. I'm sure someone will find it useful; if not now, then later.. I am still thinking about what's best for my new system.. And I'm sure I can use your info about priming and epoxying, as I am a total newbie at it, and will...

There are a couple of ways to do this (softmodding, that is), it also depends if you have the "fat" or the "slimline" PS2.. Some links: - HDAdvance (If you have the fat model: You need a Network adapter, which has an IDE Adapter to use the harddrive, then you need the HDAdvance or similar software. ...

He said look for the emulator, not for the games.... Ok but it's obvious that... Oh well, never mind Back on topic.. People have tried to replace the cd drive or connect a hard drive, but failed.. I'd recommend you buy a chipped PS2 (which has this option) or a softmodded/chipped XBOX (which can em...
