In fact, you can update your PSP to 3.90M33 and use the Network Update in the PSP's XMB menu and update it to the latest version, which is 4.XXM33. the netowrk update will go straight to 5.00 M33-3 ( unless they have fixed the update to go to 5.00 M33-4 ) using the netowrk update... Ah, yeah, thank...

Pandora is fully charged. MMS and Pandora tested fully working on my good PSP. Hmm... battery port. Are you talking about the terminals where it solders to the motherboard? Those were a bit funky looking, and I was considering reflowing them with my soldering iron. I've soldered much smaller termin...

Great guide! I can finally get custom firmware the ol' psp now. Before I start tho... I was just wondering, is there any advantage to getting the tool battery converter over the hybrid 2-in-1 battery? If not, I'd probably just go with the hybrid as it is the cheaper of the two options. If anyone ha...

it is actually pretty easy to fix the ID storage. For this, im using my MMS that puts the PSP into 4.01 M33-2 or its OFW counterpart. ( you can use my guide here for it: http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?t=26459&sid=675be31b855a8ba69dc93536d895e99d ) like you would do to boot up the service mo...

Christmas in an Engineer's Mind
There are approximately two billion children (persons under 18) in the world. However, since Santa does not visit children of Muslim, Hindu, Jewish or Buddhist (except maybe in Japan) religions, this reduces the workload for Christmas night to 15% of the total, or 378 million (according to the popul...

I am actually going to try this. No, seriously, I am. Boombox has no idea what he is talking about, or how he would accomplish this, but in theory, the idea may be workable, only a 20nm difference in laser freq., I have seen more variance with really cheap generic DVDs than that. Well, i cant...

I did nothing. I stepped a few paces away from the PC (as instructed) and done something else. 1 hour later, stuck. I tried again, reboot, signed out instant messengers, disabled antivirus, disconnect internet, retry, stuck. Then im not sure, If i may ask, are you using your main laptop ( the one t...

I'm sorry, BoomBox. I just followed these instructions and it didn't work out for my bro's PSP Slim. :? The Rains MMS Maker seems to hang. I'd gone for the PSP Grader Lite and it worked. Im guessing it hanged when it was creating the IPL and formatting and all that eh? Well, next time, if you do us...

The discs im talking about are slightly smaller by 0.4mm ( so they are 59.6mm in diameter ), but they hold 1.4gb not 1.8gb which sucks. So when i do this, im going to use my Need for Speed 5-1-0, so there goes 900mb ( approx ) from the disc. The reason the mini DVD has a lower capacity is the clear...
