Re: The perfect amplifier/speakers to go with your small screen.
It would be cool if somebody make kits for us who like those 3.5 LCD screens... *hint*hint* I would buy one for $15-20.

Re: Colecovision composite mod problems
I did this mod over a year ago and everything worked fine. I took some pictures for you because I have the top off right now because I need to replace the controller chip SN74LS541N. http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g157/wiz-dawg/videogames/9aa4b2a3.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false...

OK I spend the morning installing the Sony CXA1645M in the RetroDuo. However I'm getting no video on the SNES side with composite or S-Video. The NES side works fine. Re: Breakdown of the Galileo 5" LCD
Thanks for the info and I hope this works out for you!
I was looking for a 4.5 or 5 inch screen that runs at 5 V, I didn't say this did. This probably needs 10 V.

Re: nes/snes retro duo! pics, review, hacking info 3/24/09
I'm just curious: has anyone replaced the KA2198BD in their RetroDuo by the Sony CXA1645(they should be pin-for-pin compatible)? If so, was there any improvement in the video quality? I have a spare PSX model 5501 that has the Sony CXA1645M in it and a Retro Duo I don't mind experimenting with. Do ...

Re: Galileo 5inch LCD?
I'll probably order it this weekend and let ya'll know. I can't find any info on the net about this screen. Looks generic and refurbished, great for hacking.

I'm looking for a 5 or 4.5 inch screen that has a better viewing angle than the PS1 and runs at 5 volts.

Have you checked the fuse yet? It should be near where the ac adapter plugs in. Try jumping it with a piece of wire.

Can you tell me more about the batteries you used? Where did you purchase them? What charger did you use? Did you use a protection circuit? Thanks!
