The Dreaded RRoD...
I previously opened up my 360 to do the 12 Volt fan mod, so I voided my warranty. ...and now my 360 has an RROD. I have tried the x-clamp mod and nothing. At all. I remembered to heat up the GPU and everything. Attempted tightening it and heating it up 3 times and I have nothing. I don't want to do ...

Re: New screen from Dealextreme
No offense or anything, but when DX advertises their screens they blow the resolution way out of proportion. This means that it can handle 680x480 input, but the actual screen of the monitor is probably around 320x240. I wouldn't really know as I don't actually have this specific screen, but it appl...

Re: Gamecube portable project worklog.
By "frying" something you probably shorted something out on the processor to totally underclock it. Either that or you must have ruined most of the transistors on the die.
Either way, your gamecube is now junk.
Use the one that isn't fried.

Re: GCMini Worklog! Need feedback!!
The disc drive lens will be between the analog and the dpad in the pic. I most likly will remove the dpad and make a switch that changes the analog into dpad (don't know if that will work... goes off investigating). That will work. You simply connect the pot leads to the traces on the board and hoo...

Re: Portable Desktop PC
Well, you could use a fanless mini-itx board so it won't get too hot in there.
Or you could simply do a basic form of water cooling with the radiator attached to the case (would have to conductive, perhaps metal) to dissipate heat.
That's what I came up with.

No, like MPEGs, or digital videos over an SD card; there is no RCA in.
