Re: External Power Source?
Edit: nvm, but I did find out that it should be possible to fit in the power supply - get a small one though, like micro atx or something like that. Gut it as so the power supply is bare without its caseing then house it into the nes case i'm not sure if I'll be able to do that. It would have to be...

Re: External Power Source?
PicoPSU? I need at least 350 watts. good find though. Normal PSU and a box to house it in, a new connector to plug the whole thing into the NES? could you please clarify that statement? my first thought was a normal PSU with an external housing attached to the right side of the NES, and that would ...

Re: Flash drive spanning?
make sure the drives are contiguous and have the same stripe size. other than that I'm not really sure. I've never tried to setup a USB span.

Re: mtg - game on multiple consoles.
you mean something like this? Apprentice M2010 Edition "patch" 2 player online. getting it to work with a console or handheld might be a little tricky and doesn't have actual cards as that's illegal. Good for deck building and playtesting. also here's pokemon online if you're interested in that. not...

Re: Game project... Team wanted.
do you already have an idea? a format? you'll definitely need people with the ability to create and animate 3d models as well as people who code. You'll need some way to transfer assets amongst your staff. You'll need lots of time, you'll need a publisher, you'll need capital. if you plan on publish...

External Power Source?
I'm building an NES media PC with bluray. Here's the parts list: Hard Drive Mounting Brackets MotherBoard BluRay I won't be able to fit a PSU inside and I would prefer to not have to add an extension to the NES. I was thinking a Laptop Power Supply might do the trick, I'm just not sure how I would g...

You want what's referred to as a "Flash Cart". It's usually got its own memory built in, especially for older systems. As far as I know, Neoteam (neoflash.com) is the only company which produces one for n64, but I have seen plans online somewhere for a DIY one... that was a long time ago, though. t...

Are you talking about emulators? kinda. I want to take my N64 with me without having to carry lots of cartridges. Assume that I have an N64 that I ripped apart and made portable. Instead of using one cartridge per game I'd like to be able to fit them all inside one but read multiple or at the very ...

Crazy Idea...
The thing is, I still play my consoles. I've still got a working NES, Sega, SNES, N64, PSX, and PS2 (barely). I love 'em all. Unfortunately it's cluttered and annoying having so many discs/cartridges, controllers, wires, and consoles all over the place. At my current place I've only got the N64 and ...

I'm not the only one working on this project. I've got an electronics guy. I'm just the design guy. my question isn't a "How do I do this?" question. It's one to find out what options I have. Yes plastic is a good idea for a case, but what else is there? true I'm broke but I can still buy stuff piec...

My First Post. Complete with Questions. and B12!
I'm gonna make me an xbox 360 laptop. 22". please note that I am very broke and have to save up to buy one piece at a time. some things first. I suck at electronics. I can solder well enough but expecting me to know what's what on a board is bad. I am, however, good at designing things. My case layo...
