GC Portable : Worklogs - Small Update 2/25
Hello, all! I am officially working on my first GCp. After 4 SNESp I decided to work on the Gamecube! I actually am working on two kinda at the same time. One is going to use the original GC disc drive, but the other I'm trying to do research on the untouchable smaller disc drive (not just using the...

@Pkmnjunky7: Thanks a lot! That's what I was really trying for this time around, really appreciate it. @eagle5953: I wasn't able to deliver it as soon as expected, so I got a few internal pics; I don't have a card reader to transfer them, atm, though, they will come soon. @Metallica Man X: Thanks! I...

Re: SnesP
Where exactly is the speaker going? Why not do stereo sound, and have two triforce symbols? The yellow led thing could be neat either way. Are you using a vinyl for the Link image, or hand drawing; how are you putting it on the back?

Slow to turn on - 30+ second lag time
Ok, so I have my portable done, but it has an issue. When I turn on the portable, the game doesn't start for a good 30 seconds; it's just a black screen for that long. Eventually the game starts, but I can't figure out why it would do that. Is a capacitor bad, or something? Any ideas?

Re: SNES WIP - CODENAME: SPACE CADET
Ok, I'm having some major issues...well, ok, really just one. I got most of the holes cut in the case and a bunch of the stuff attached. I am trying to rewire everything 1) to ensure that it all works, and 2) to ensure that the controls line up correctly. I'm stuck on step one. I had to cut down the...

Re: SNES WIP - CODENAME: SPACE CADET
@Metallica Man X: The mold as in the form for the case is wooden, but the mold as in the case is ABS plastic. @Pkmnjunky7, DK, ToastBucket, and StoneAgeGamer: Thanks for the info guys, I'll have to keep it in mind for the future. I got my board cut down to the size I need, so I won't be needing anot...

Re: SNES WIP - CODENAME: SPACE CADET
Looks good, I like your work in general. Keep up the pace! Hey, thanks! Didn't know anyone followed my work :) You have worked with the Retro Duo, I see. I am looking to shrink down the SNES, as seen in my pictures. Would I be able to get the Retro Duo to be smaller than the mini SNES as such? Also...
