Re: NES 2 Composite Mod
Dumb question: when you say that you don't need a few of the inductors or capacitors do you just lop off the part of the board they're on, or do you just relocate them? If they're truly not needed why are they on the board in the first place?

Re: NES VCR?
@MichelMoermans Thanks for the interest! You can search around on youtube and find videos of NES DVD players so it has been done before, I've never seen nor heard of an NES VCR though. As for the toaster in the NES case, its certainly doable though i'd be concerned about how well the toaster compone...

Sounds reasonable. Is the jewel case in good shape? What about the disc itself?
Re: Wii U
It seems that all of them do. PC is a better platform for homebrew. Ms does have xbla for homebrew.
Re: Wii U
@Sledge Hammer sorry to burst your bubble, but we've been told specifically that no processing is done on the handheld. Also, big N hates homebrew.
Re: Wii U
The controller agitates me, I am keeping an open mind about it being a tablet, but non-diagonally opposed thumbsticks?! Who does Nintendo think it is? Sony? Even the Gamecube got that right.

Re: Bush's N64p Commission
Ohh boy, cart slot relocation. I get that this is standard procedure but after a month of fighting with the expansion port on an NES I shudder at the thought of so many pins. Keep up the good work can't wait to see the case.

Re: NES VCR?
Well Dr.Mushroom (I find that name humorous), you are not late to the party, I am simply lethargic. I did buy the parts to experiment with this, but it fell by the wayside because I needed to complete my genesis AV + region mod before my friend moved to Europe. I should be done with that shortly, an...

Re: Bush's N64p Commission
What can I say, it struck me funny. I had been awake for a full 24 hours prior to making that post, so perhaps I was punchy. To be more relevant, Bush do you have a preferred brand of thermal paste? I'm one of those weirdos who has convinced himself that there is a difference.

Re: Buying a laserdisc player
Thanks Triton!
That was extremely informative, right now I'm looking at a d704 on ebay. It doesn't seem to come with its remote though.
Is it easy to get a replacement? By the way, how big is your LD collection?
