Re: The Entertain Boy worklog (resurrected)
Update time! Installed the screen yesterday. I'm going to try to used screw posts as much as possible in this portable. Here the screw posts from the PSone screen are holding the screen in: Front http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/6989/pb040413.jpg Back http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/4600/pb0404...

Re: The Entertain Boy worklog (resurrected)
I have decided to resume work on this project. It even has a new name: http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/2734/entertainboylogo.png Anyway, I did get this portable to work a few months ago, but I wasn't satisfied with the sloppy wiring. I gutted the case, and started fresh. Here is my cut-down PSone...

WTT: Dualshock for an Original PS1 Control Pad
I need the original PS1 controller (the one without the analog sticks).
I'll trade a PS1 Dualshock controller for it: I have 2 models, one has normal PCB, and the other's pcb is printed on thin, clear plastic. I'll also trade a 3rd-party DC Astropad if you prefer. PM me.

When I first saw the original thread, I thought, "There's no way he'll be able to turn that toy into a case for a portable." I'm sorry for doubting you and I am glad you proved me wrong.
This portable looks excellent. Great job.

Re: $Calling all Portable enthusiast... sell your portable!$
It's a hobby. There are already mass-produced consumer handhelds (maybe less capable, but cheaper than what any of us are willing to sell for), so there wouldn't be much demand either.sonic4freedom wrote:Business

Re: Untitled Snesp Build log
Ok so I need someone to do a led mod and an anti-glare mod. The LED mod isn't very hard, but use resistors between 20-32 ohms instead of the 10ohm resistors Ben used in the book. The only difficult part is cutting the slots for the LEDs without mutilating the plastic. The anti-glare mod is actually...

I like the design.
You might find this analogstick nub more comfortable than a psp analog. Thanks for the speaker part #.
