Re: Updated How-To Mod book (covers laptops and portables)
True. That book taught you how, and now you would know the theory of modding well enough to work on newer systems not included in it. The idea of having people who need step-by-step instructions to make an NESp attempt to make a PS3 laptop is absurd. The old book is good enough.

Re: Updated How-To Mod book (covers laptops and portables)
I vote no, because it is REALLY annoying when noobs make everything step-by-step, then sell it when creative people who know what they're doing instead of "solder a wire from A to B cuz it said to lolol" can't get recognition. Plus, it encourages laziness and takes the fun/ uniqueness out of modding.

^ - -> Mrow? It cost half a tank of gas to repalce the instrument cluster? lol, no, the before picture was taken a couple months ago. Everything on the new cluster works perfectly, except the gear indicator lights (my car is manual). I would like to get them working so P will light up when the park...

Re: Wondering how I can do a mod to my n64 to run off batteries
God, haunted, don't post without proper knowledge. He can just wire DIRECTLY to the pin's solder pads AFTER the SMT crap. The grey ribbon is useless. Also, you need 7v-35v for the 12v line, and 2.9v(in some cases 3.0)-3.4v on the 3.3v line. BTW- your diagram is fine, but you only need to connect 3.3...

Could it be possible to make it so you are only able to lock your own topics if you aren't the last poster? That takes away the flamewar scenario, as nobody wants to lock their topic if it means looking like the loser.

Re: How to use a ps3 controller directly on the n64 or gamcube
Do this:
C pad---right analog
A-------circle
B-------X
Turbo A--triangle
Turbo B--Square
R-------R1
L-------L1
Z-------R2/L2
Analog--left analog
Dpad----Dpad
Start----Select/start/PS button/analog button
I could make this custom controller for you, if you like.
