Re: Question about the GC "open" switch...
First of all, this is a very old thread. Second of all, that is completely irrelevant to anything that was going on...back in November...

Re: Portablizer Extraordinaire Review
For one thing, no, you won't "gladly forward them to" anyone. And another: Why do I have a feeling that you're just stupid (for probably handling it the wrong way or something; hailrazer isn't one to just blow off something like that)? Also, the way you're writing this makes you seem a lot like you...

Only if you are willing to use homebrew on your Wii. I don't know how (google will probably help), but if no one answers your question then PM PalmerTech. He knows how

 I guess I should have looked a little more. Thanks for those though. If there is one thing I like, it's saving money! They charge $25 per box because it's hazardous material?! They had better put both batteries in the same box It's apparently just a "suggested" option. I can ne...

Re: GameCube Portable Guide "How To and FAQ"
Uhh, that's how 12v gets to the system. Try it with the Disk Drive and get back to us on how it works. Since you can power the GCN on lower than 12v, you may be right.

Re: Gamecube power adapter ruined
Uhh, explain please? All I got was that you put in the power supply when some battery was still in and it broke the power supply. You mean batteries you were using for a portable? Or what?

Re: Downing's 2nd N64p "The Nimbus 64"
The best thing I can think of is to make sure that all your buttons are making good contact with the pads and that they are wired correctly. :? I have no idea how to fix the controller, really. I had the same problem but just took the controller out of the case and it worked fine. Maybe make sure th...

Re: fuzzy screen?
Use at least 22 gauge wire for your power and ground. You shouldn't have to worry about length of the wire as much as the gauge. Try to replace those wires and see what happens.

Re: gamecube custom disk drive?
In case it isn't obvious by now, there is no practical way to get any other disk drive to work on the GCN. The best thin you can do is strategically locate the DD in your portable so that it doesn't take up valuable space. Check out zenloc's GCp v.2 or hailrazer's NCube to see what I mean.

Tip for the pliers method...be VERY careful. You don't want to bend or scratch the motherboard at all when you do it. Go slowly and be patient.

Re: ShockSlayer's AG-64 Finished! 12th N64p!
I'm generally dissatisfied with this forum. I have felt little else but contempt and coldness from many members here. Jidan, limpport, kiss my grits and suck an egg. And you can't cite me for profanity either! I'm sorry you feel that way, but I do like how this thread when from a new ShockSlayer pr...

Only if you have absolutely nothing constructive or helpful to add. "Fierce debates" are generally left alone after they're done, anyhow.

Re: The Nitro 64 (geno whirl's N64 portable worklog)
You can use something like IDE wire or bigger, smaller, whatever to make your connections to your screen. Controller wire works very well from what I've experienced Power does need to be about 22 gauge, but that's the only thing that does.
