Re: AV out on Back of Dreamcast
I think you are right. I got that "CCTV 6800 mAH battery" that this one ebayer from Hong Kong claimed. Then they were lying about the mAH. Either that... or it's not charging. Because I have the battery hooked up to the charger, and the light is red, but it's weird, the light is red even when there ...

Re: AV out on Back of Dreamcast
Thanks! That helped a lot! I was able to get it grounded. Now... I have one more problem, When I turn on my Dreamcast, a long with the screen, it gets a little wavy on the screen. Then, when it gets to the menu on the DC, it gets REALLY wavy and then starts losing color and then the screen goes tota...

AV out on Back of Dreamcast
I have been soldering wires to the pins on the AV out of the Dreamcast, however I did it on the pins on the outside of the plastic connector. However my wires keep coming loose, and I can't find a good way to keep it sealed with my hot glue. I am aware that there are solder dots on the underside of ...

Re: New DCp In Progress!
Lol, yeah right, for a beginner's project? LOL. Is that even possible to get wifi out of a 56k modem? EDIT: Oh, by the way, I got my picoPSU and battery, I hooked it all up, but now the screen gives a wavey look. Is the ground not connected properly? Because I hooked it up to my TV and it worked fin...

Re: Two n00b Questions
I only had to connect one of the grounds... From pin 1 on the Dreamcast AV out, to pin 8 or pin 4 on the PSone Screen. Hope that helps!

Almost finished DCp In Progress! UPDATE: Video on Page 3!
Good news! I got the DC board hooked up to my screen, but no audio yet. As I still need my new picoPSU, at the moment I am just running it off my old DC PSU. So, I am pretty happy at the moment, this is my first project working with electronics basically, so I am learning a lot along the way. I'll p...

Re: picoPSU not working
lol... I can solder pretty good, but I won't be so self confident in myself... I didn't really care if it would damage the plastic in the first place, because once I got it working, I would never really look at it again... So, I did get pretty careless. And when I tried soldering to the pads, the he...

Re: picoPSU not working
I removed the first bridge, followed your diagram and counted pins, plugged it in and it fried, I know my soldering wasn't exactly clean, but... it had a green light on beforehand, now it doesn't light up at all. But thanks for helping, I'll take much more care on the next one. Wish me luck!
