Re: Got a Sun Enterprise 420r, need helps
It's a server, meaning that it doesn't need a graphics card for regular use. The most common way to access the server like that one is usually over the nriwork (when the server is running) or over a serial console. (At any time, including pr-boot time) I've used a Sun computer before for a long time...

Re: They should make a movie about us
"They"? Why don't "we" do it. Let people record their own segments with whatever camera they have and then let someone compile the material. If this really goes big let's try to find people in different areas who have better cameras to get high quality footage where ever possible. In other words don...

Re: n64 3.3v
The voltage rating on a capacitor specifies a maximum tolerance. The tolerance should, by convention, be 20% or higher than the voltage you're connecting it to. So if you a 9.8 V battery as your input, the capacitor rating must be greater than 12 V or so. The nearest rating is probably 16 V. 35 V wi...

Are you doing it because you think Guy Fawkes masks are cool (LOLOLOLOL ANONYMOUS) or do you have an actual political motivation?

If this is literally true, why not let people upload their avatars to the server? You can have both uploading and off-site linking enabled of course.benheck wrote:(Note: We STILL need something to use up the rest of the server power with)

Re: To settle the whole "spelling&grammer" issue
Very valid opinions guys; however, I do think it would be ridiculous to expect every user to check their post via Firefox or Microsoft word. Just use Firefox and you have the spellchecker right there. I hope you don't think he meant that you should use IE and then copy-paste the post in to Firefox ...

Set up 1-2 of the active moderators that you trust that and give them ban rights. If it were only that simple. Only Administrators can ban members - we can't give individuals the ability to ban people and nothing else. At this point in time the staff has not deemed it necessary to promote any more ...

Ban the spammers...
I've occasionally said it before and I'm saying it again. Ban the spammers. It's not unusual to see the same spammer come back and posr 3-4 more times. You're obviously aware of these people since you've deleted or (I would guess) moved their posts to a secret subforum. And yet you don't ban them. S...

Oh the 360, that's a different story. I was just assuming you were talking about old-school consoles. Sorry.
