This thing is still amazing even after all this time. I wish kibble would come back. If he does come back, the SifuF phenomenom of jaw-drop related injuries could resurface.

My New Workshop :D (56k warning)
The first workshop was actually a small dresser that I took the shelves out of. it was 40 inches by ~24 inches. Very very small. When me and my family moved they said I could have the shed. Here are some pics http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/gokupg/IMG_0132.jpg The outside http://i713.photob...

Re: Cart Relocation Using SCSI?
so right now i am preparing myself for this task cause i never tried anything like this :? To get prepared for the N64, try digging up old electronics that stopped working, and see if you can fix them, even though you have no idea why they don't work. When messing around with the N64, you'll be doi...

Re: Cart Relocation Using SCSI?
Do it the old fashioned way, like a lot of people do, by Soldering 48 individual wires over and over again until you're 100% satisfied with the job

I'd go with epoxy. Seems the best option in this situation.

Re: Would this make suitable case material?
I think I'm going to just go with a simple design with sheet plastic. I don't really like pre-built cases because sometimes they aren't exactly the way you want them.

Re: molded epoxy resin
I'm not saying it's a problem post molding, I'm just saying be careful if you do decide to mold epoxy resin while it's curing.

Re: molded epoxy resin
I'm not saying it's a fire hazard, I'm just saying it might get hot. I just don't see this as a viable case option though. I think you should start out making a case from sheet plastic or ordering one from polycase.

Re: molded epoxy resin
It all depends on the epoxy being used. Some, if not most, epoxy generates some form of heat. I doubt this method would produce a structurally sound case. If you do decide to take this route, be sure you know how much heat it's going to create. Epoxy hardens due to exothermic chemical reactions, so ...
